Product Information Grade
Rubaloy – 6490 is a non-staining, oil and weather resistant polymer using medium ACN (33%) content Acrylonitrile Butadiene Rubber and a special grade of Poly Vinyl Chloride Resin. This grade has improved Ozone and Abrasion resistance, excellent Electrical Insulation properties and contains no plasticizer.

Processing Characteristics
Rubaloy – 6490 is easily processible on conventional rubber processing/compounding machines. Good filler and plasticizer absorption makes the compounding cycle quick, saving time and reducing cost. Warm mixing mill compounding is recommended for best results. Rubaloy – 6490 can easily withstand elevated compounding temperatures. Recommended plasticizers are DINP, DOP, DOA, DOS, DBP, TCR, CPO and other Aromatic Plasticizers. Paraffinic based softeners are not recommended.

Curing
Standard Sulphur or Peroxide curing systems are to be used. NBR/PVC is slow curing hence a high dosage of accelerators are recommended.

Applications
Cables and other insulating applications, Hose Covers, Conveyor Belt covers, Auto Parts, Gaskets, Oil Seals, Shoe Soles, Rubber Sheets and Extruded Rubber Parts, Industrial Textile and Printing Rolls, Expanded Sheets for insulation, Auto weather strips etc.
